Suggestions for Venues

HGS aims to play its 'day events' at venues within (approximately) 60 miles or 1 1/4 hours of York. After 28 years we have played most of the good venues in the area at least once, so we now attempt to get a mix of popular venues we have played before and some new ones.

In  recent years we have conducted regular canvassing of members' views through questionnaires and specific requests for ideas. In this way we hope to benefit from the experience that our members have of other courses in the area.

If you have any suggestions for future venues please do not wait to be asked! Email your ideas to the President and your ideas will be put forward to the annual Committee planning meeting at the end of October/early November.
