Brian Williams wins at Otley

The 4th round of the President's Cup competition was held at Otley Golf Club, our third visit to the course over 30 years - but the first time since 2007. A lovely course, with green fairways and plenty of trees!

Softer fairways and occasional light rain made it difficult to make a high score, but Brian Williams came home wih 36 points, just ahead of Ian Forster with 35 and Nigel Cooper on 34.

This is Brian's 4th HGS win, and consolidates his lead in the President's Cup as we move towards the final round match at Filey. But there are several members who can catch him up - IF they can score well at Filey...

Ben Wilson still leads the Birdies competition, but now only by one from Brian. It is all to play for in round 5!
